God Made Snow
Fo as the rain cometh down,
and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth,
and maketh it bring forth and bud,
that it may give seed to the sower,
and bread to the eater:
Which are blickish by reason of the ice,
and wherein the snow is hid.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean:
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
I beheld till the thrones were cast down,
and the Ancient of days sit,
whose garment was white as snow,
and the hair of his head like the pure wool:
his throne was like the fiery flame,
and his wheels as burning fire.
For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth;
likewise to the small rain.
and to the great rain of his strength.
Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow?
or hast thou seen of treasures of the hail,
He given snow like wool:
he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes
As the cold of snow in the time of harvest,
so is a faithful messenger to them that send him:
for he refresheth the soul of his masters.
And his raiment became shinning, exceeding white
so as no fuller on earth can white them.
His countenance was like lighting,
and his raiment white as snow:
Come now, and let us reason together,
saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient,
ye shall eat the good of the land:
His head and his hairs were white like wool,
as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
